About Newport Coast Elementary School Foundation
The Newport Coast Elementary School Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing all children at NCE with an exceptional public school education. Directed by parent volunteers, our primary purpose is to fund exceptional projects, programs, and staff that enhance our children’s school.
The Foundation provides additional resources to enhance our children's academic and teaching environment through the generous support of our NCE families. This year NCESF continues to fund one dedicated technology teacher as well as technology and equipment for innovative instruction and tools for advanced learning. NCE is designated as a California Exemplary Arts School. The Foundation invests and helps develop NCE's extraordinary art programs by funding the purchase of new instruments, audio equipment, and technology for our teachers and students.
This year, in light of the District’s recent approval to fund the hillside ramp and stairway project, we now have a RARE OPPORTUNITY to fund a shade structure and seating area, in conjunction with the District-funded ramp and stairway. The NCE School Foundation is committed to funding, through parent donations, the construction of a shade structure offering shaded seating and rest space for our students.
