We pay for NCE’s full-time technology teacher, the Coyote Creation Station, arts and music equipment, and an extra crossing guard — none of it covered by state or district budgets.
Our Mission
Directed by a board of parent volunteers, our primary purpose is to fund exceptional projects, programs and staff that enhance our children’s school.

What your gift funds
NCE doesn’t qualify for federal Title I funding, so the programs below exist only because NCE families fund them. Here’s what your gifts pay for in the 2026–27 school year.
Technology teacher
In 2026–27, NCESF once again fully funds Mr. Whitton, NCE’s dedicated technology teacher, who leads every grade through coding and robotics in the Coyote Creation Station technology lab.
Arts & music
NCE is designated as a California Exemplary Arts School. The Foundation invests and helps develop NCE's extraordinary art programs by funding the purchase of new instruments, audio equipment, and technology for our music teachers and students.
Coyote Creation Station
Our on-campus makerspace, built by NCE families. Students program robots, prototype ideas, and work in teams using Project Lead the Way. See what’s happening in the Creation Station on our Technology Updates page.
Crossing guard
The district only provides a limited number of crossing guards. With our school being located in a heavy traffic area, it is necessary to have an additional crossing guard. The funds from NCESF provides this for our school.

6:00–9:00 pm at Five Crowns, Corona del Mar. Adults only. $85 per person includes dinner and a drink, and every ticket supports NCE’s technology program. Tickets are limited.
